This is to inform and confirm to all registrants to Ideah 2020, that the refunding process of any fee paid by the prospective participants has already begun and that last of the DDs have been drawn and sent by Speedpost.
This is further to add that no deductions have been made, and all commission and postal charges have been borne by the organizers.
Individual colleges have already been emailed with DD Numbers, Amount Refunded and the necessary links to track their postal packets. Kindly bear with the nationwide lockdown for delivery.

Self-supporting Tricycle Mounted Motor Vehicle Now Functional for the Physically Challenged

A paraplegic has taken up an initiative at self-supporting him with a Tricycle Mounted Motor Cycle that would help him go places and serve the needy.
The vehicle is so devised, that it would allow him to drive seated in his tricyle and also a ramp that would help him to mount and unmount from his vehicle with self support.
Also touching was that, the rider could give a ride for others too. Talk to the inventor Mr.Arunkumar @ 9487836960
Mr.Arunkumar shall make it available for any and currently it's also used by a Geologist with the Atomic Energy.

Cellulosic nanospheres (SNCs) from waste sugarcane fibres (MFC's)

Mandeep Singh and Vikas Pahal, both from Amritsar have disclosed of an inventive "Method for preparation of cellulosic nanospheres with spherucal morphology (SNCs) from waste sugarcane bagasse pith fibres (MFC's)" attaching nine Claims to the same.

The abstract states that they could achieve it with "high shear mechanical treatment and without using highly concentrated chemical reagents."

The abstract further informs that the "SNCs are a class of CNCs that possess uniform spherical morphology, larger specific surface area, high porosity and numerous free surface hydrophilic groups.

The utility value of the invention could be that, according to the Abstract,  is that it "reportedly" makes" SNCs a promising nanomaterial in application areas
such as biomedicine, nanocomposites and drug delivery."

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT MONITORING

and Dr. Ravi Gupta, as Inventors has on 22/10/2019 filed for a Patent Entitled SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT MONITORING, with 10 Claims.

The Abstract states it as a "System" comprising of "a seat occupancy sensor" "a thermal imaging sensor", "a data processing arrangement".

Each of the above is "configured" "to determine an occupancy status for the seat", "to capture at least one image of each seat", and "to validate the occupancy status of the seat", respectively.

In addition, there is "a communication device associated with a professional responsible for managing the public transport", "a public transport identification device and a server arrangement." "The server arrangement is configured to "determine the occupancy status of each seat and validate" its occupancy status. Further, the server arrangement will transmit messages to the communication device.

TORQUE TRANSMISSION DEVICE

Rangasamy Karthik and Ekambaram Raja have published for grant of patent, an invention invention that relates to a torque transmission device (TTD).

TTD comprises of a torque input element and a friction disc, a torque output element and a hub, first retainer plate (RP1), is in contact with the friction disc, a plurality of primary dampers arranged axially around the hub, a drive plate coupled to the hub and the RP2 is coupled to the first retainer plate. RP1 has a first sloped portion and the hub has a second sloped portion such that the first sloped portion in the RP1 is in a contact with the second sloped portion of the hub.

BRAZING CUBIC BORON NITRIDE (CBN) WITH METAL SUBSTRATES

AMITAVA GHOSH, D.RAGHAVA SIMHAN and PRITHVIRAJ MUKHOPADHYAY have published for grant of patent for an invention for brazing cubic boron nitride (cBN) with metal substrates. The invention proposes formulation of eutectic composition of Ag-Cu alloy by separate additions of small weight percentages of active element in the form of TiH2 along with hard ceramics (micro-alumina or micro TiN or micro TiB2 particles). An Independent addition of each type of ceramic particles aids in high wear resistance without affecting the joining ability.

DEVELOPING DIAMOND DRESSE TOOLS HAVING GRITS IN PATTERNED ARRAY

AMITAVA GHOSH, PRITHVIRAJ MUKHOPADHYAY and D.RAGHAVA SIMHAN have published for grant of patent for an invention called An improved method for developing brazed dresser tools using vacuum-operated gripping/releasing of diamond grits.

The invention is a brazed type diamond dresser tool with precisely controlled positioning of grits, customized pattern and uniform grit protrusion (by uniform bond-encapsulation height from substrate) above bond level. The process of brazing involves joining of diamond grits to dresser material surface by applying a suitable filler alloy in 

between them.

FILLER MATERIAL FOR JOINING DIAMOND TO STEEL SUBSTRATE

AMITAVA GHOSH, PRITHVIRAJ MUKHOPADHYAY and D.RAGHAVA SIMHAN have published for grant of patent, an invention that proposes a novel formulation of the brazing filler material that contains small weight percentage of an active element in the form of TiH2 added to eutectic composition of Ag-Cu alloy with the secondary reinforcement agents like hard particles of either nano-diamond or micro-TiC particles which aids in this new filler material formulation.
