Rangasamy Karthik and Ekambaram Raja have published for grant of patent, an invention invention that relates to a torque transmission device (TTD).
TTD comprises of a torque input element and a friction disc, a torque output element and a hub, first retainer plate (RP1), is in contact with the friction disc, a plurality of primary dampers arranged axially around the hub, a drive plate coupled to the hub and the RP2 is coupled to the first retainer plate. RP1 has a first sloped portion and the hub has a second sloped portion such that the first sloped portion in the RP1 is in a contact with the second sloped portion of the hub.
